Life Upgrade: YouTube Partner and Ordered the Sanyo Xacti VPC-CG10 HD camcorder

I’ve been through many camcorders on my channel so far. The FS100 has provided many great videos but I felt the step up to HD was necessary and I plunged for the Kodak Zx1 pocket HD Camcorder. This was amazing however was limited by its main selling point -- being compact. So I’ve decided to go for the Sanyo Xacti VPC-CG10 and go up another gear. Lets hope it works out!

Site Relaunch! New look and features! 2009!

As promised I have finished the new theme and customised it to my needs providing you with an even better experience.  I have checked it all and it seems all working but if you hit any hitches please let me know.  So roughly 2 weeks work on and off and here are some of the changes:

  • New theme
  • New Slideshow showing top 3 recent posts at the top of the Home page -- an easier way to see new info
  • My Lifestream Page -- watch all my social activities in a timeline fashion as it happens
  • New Twitter sidebar badge
  • New sidebar widgets with “My Recent Twitpics” and “My Recent Flickr photos”
  • New Tweet This button under every post
  • Ability to subscribe to a post

So I hope you enjoy it and it should make reading the blog a lot easier! Thanks for all your support!

In preparation for the New Xbox Experience

So as the eagerly awaited major upgrade in the form of the New Xbox Experience comes to the Xbox 360 on November 19th 2008, I thought I’d upgrade the data on the website.  At the moment of writing I have had the (soon to be old) conventional gamercard on the right of each individual article and I hope to update this to the new one.  It will come from the good people at MyGamercard.net and incorporate the new avatar system into it which will appear as a blank silhouette until the day of the NXE’s release. Here’s the old one:


There we go, done! As of now you will see the updated gamercard on the site.  There won’t be much difference but it will tell you clearly when I am online and what I am playing, as well as seeing my new avatar.
